Bug Description

Since upgrading to Ubuntu 11.10 I am having problems connecting to my wireless network. The connection is made, and after about 30 seconds the connection is lost. This has never happened with any of the previous versions of Ubuntu. IT COMPLETELY LOCKS UP MY ROUTER. The only solution after attempting a connection is to reset the router. I have tried connecting to my friend network, and I have no problems on his network.
Following is a quick description of my laptop, and logs from my router.

Hello,

I'm having the same problem. In other versions of Ubuntu that does not happen to me.
Whenever I connect will my network wireless the connections is lost past few seconds and I must restart my router to have active network.

My wireless card is the same as your and my router is DD-WRT firmware.

I think the problem has to do with the wireless card, because with cable connection everything works fine.

I need help.

I was able to reconnect to my network by changing some settings in my router.
Some of the recent changes in the networking protocol in the beta of Ubuntu seem to not be working properly.

I changed my wireless mode from: 'Compatibility Mode' to support 802.11bg & 802.11n. to
'Legacy Mode' to support only 802.11bg.
and I changed the CTS protection from CTS only to RTS_CTS.
After making these changes I was able to reconnect to my router. Hope this helps you.
