Bug Description

Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet

Since my recent upgrade to feisty, f-u-s-a needs 100% cpu. The context-menu, where the names of the users used to be, stays empty, leaving me with a totally broken f-u-s-a at the moment.

Same here. Once added to panel, CPU load spikes, users are not populated. Removing from panel removed load from CPU.

Could bug #76632, provide some help? It mentions some changes to GDM caused some problems, might be related.

Yup! Creating a symlink from /var/run/.gdm_socket to /tmp/.gdm_socket solves the problem, indicating that it is indeed the same issue as in bug #76632. Should I file a bug against f-u-s-a updtream now?
