Bug Description
I see this regularly while installing applications running Ubuntu Software Center. I'm running a Oneiric laptop, recently updated from Natty.
The interesting thing is that everything seems to work properly, despite the error message -- the packages installation proceeds as requested, and I haven't yet found any ill-effects from this reported crash. (I haven't looked too deeply, but nothing that comes up when I do the usual apt-get sequences.)
