Bug Description
When the pidgin icon is set to always show, still it doesn't show up in the notification area. On closing all the pidgin windows, it disappears off unity menu though it is running in the background.

As a workaround it appears by systray-whitelist ['all'] in dconf-editor. Assume just adding 'Pidgin' to the list would be also sufficient.
