This looks similar to bug 838812. The trace isn't the same, but the functions are in the same file, and

  type_node_check_conformities_UorL

and

  type_node_conforms_to_U

look like they're handling the same type-checking as

  g_type_check_is_value_type_U

in bug 838812. It's possible they may have the same root cause. Thanks.
