I only installed beagle on my computer after of this notification and off my computer.
When restart my computer the system send a notification about this bug.

If you received a notification of a program crash then should exists also a crash log (it should be in /var/crash/).

i just restarted and i also got a message that a program crashed, i clicked the icon and the "problem report" window came up. I searched around it and found the program that did cause it to crash was "beagled-helper"

I think we have enough to confirm this bug, especially considering how many dupes seem to be popping up.

Can people who see this bug please run beagled in the foreground? Apport doesn't seem able to catch the output Mono prints when it crashes. To do this, run beagle like so:

beagled --fg --debug --mono-debug

(If beagled complains about --mono-debug, just omit it. It's a fairly recent addition.)

I'm afraid that i can't attach /var/crash/ output as it is empty. Perhaps an other bug, i am unsure about this.
In my case Konqueror said it could not connect to beagle via kio. Starting beagled from the console led into a crash of beagled.
Anyway reinstalling libgmime2.2-cli seams to have solved the problem.

A lot of people are complaining about this, ubuntu should fix their build asap.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. As far as i now beagle development was stopped 2010. I will close this bug report.
