Hidden empty menu between volume and clock indicators

Bug Description

If you mouse over the indicator area at the login screen, then between the volume control and the clock/calendar you will see that there is an extra hidden, empty menu.

The attached screenshot is of unity-greeter --test-mode because I couldn't get a screenshot of my actual login screen, but they display the same problem.
