Cursor behaviour broken in unity search box

Bug Description

When you go to the Unity search bar and (for example) type "frefox" move the cursor (via arrow keys or mouse) between the "f" and "r" and type an "i", it will appear at the end resulting in "frefoxi" rather than the expected "firefox".

This bug has already been reported, I've seen it on Launchpad, but I can't find it.
