Automatic Updates setting not saved

In both software-properties-gtk and software-properties-kde:

Go to the updates tab.
Under Automatic Updates, select "Install security updates without confirmation" or "Download all updates in the background"
Click close.
Open software-properties again.
None of the options under Automatic Updates are selected.

The "Only notify about available updates" option works as expected.

Kubuntu Feisty with latest updates.

Thanks for your bugreport.

I can confirm this behaviour here. Additionaly when I open software-properties-gtk I see all buttons in the automatic updates checked (even when they are not).

Please attach you /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/peridoic to this bug.

Michael, what you see is perhaps the inconsistent state: it is used if we cannot represent your custom configuration in the user interface.

I don't have a /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/periodic, but I have the following files in /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/
01ubuntu 25adept-archive-limits 70debconf
15adept-periodic-update 50unattended-upgrades

I'm attaching 15adept-periodic-update when "Only notify about available updates" is selected.
