Bug Description

Indicator session said there were no updates when I clicked on it there were 50, I click on check and the 50 that was first opened were the only ones.

It may be easier to temporarily make it more reliable by making the menu item static and calling it "Check for updates" until it accurately gives a measure of if there is an update available or not.
