Bug Description
Sound used to work for all user accounts, but no longer does. Recently installed Skype but do not know how closely that correlates with recent sound problem. We no longer get the exit sound when logging off from the primary user account, either. When looking at Sound Preferences, Hardware tab, nothing is listed; the only choice on the Output tab is Dummy Output. The primary user account shows Analog Stereo on the Output tab. I would like to fix this and defend the honor of Linux to my Windoze-using girlfriend, but I don't know enough. Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx
