Bug Description
I use comixcursors for years and really like it. Recently terminal output tends to be more colorful by default (grep, ,ls, nano, ...). To improve contrast to brighter colors I changed terminal background to black. Now the comixcursors text pointer is hardly visible (only two small dots) when it is over a terminal. The same problem occurs over black webpages, and I guess with dark themes in general.
Affected are the pointer variants with thin dark lines, e.g. the one named "text". I painted an improved version for myself (original on the left side, my proposal on the right). I am not a designer nor a gimp expert. Just take it as a sketch.

The author of comixcursors told me a solution on http:// opendesktop. org/content/ show.php? content= 32627
For dark backgrounds one can patch the hairline color of text and crosshair cursors by setting HAIR="..." the in *.CONFIG files and then rebuild comixcursors. Just get the sources from the link above and read the README.
To build you need to install the packages "imagemagick" and "librsvg2-bin". And if a change does not get visible after "make install" then try to logout + login, especially when you are in VirtualBox.
