Bug Description
At least since Ubuntu alpha 3, nautilus requires selecting Cut/Copy twice, otherwise the Paste option does not activate. The behavior is the same if done from the Edit menu, the context menu or the Ctrl+{X,C,V} keys.
I get the same behavior in both my desktop and my laptop.

After experiencing the same bug in Nautilus 2.30, I noticed that it is actually triggered by the version of parcellite currently in oneiric repositories. There's a similar bug ( Bug #848771 ) which suggest that upgrading the package to the rc5 might solve the issue.
