Bug Description

In edgy, hourglass is displayed longer time than it is necessary in administrative applications.
Widgets in window become enabled, menus became usable, but hourglass cursor is still on for
several seconds. It can be easily seen when Synaptic starts...

Thank you for your bug report. I can't reproduce this - do you see this in applications other than synaptic? If you move your mouse outside of the synaptic window, does it return to the cursor or stay a on the hourglass?

1) yes, I see this also in "Administration / Users and Groups" and
    "Administration / Networking" dialogs e.g. ...all about 6 seconds
    (and there is also "Starting administrative application" item on
    Window List applet on panel exactly for this time period)
2) yes, if I move cursor outside application window (e.g. on desktop
    background), cursor is still at hourglass state
