Bug Description

ver 6.10 can see other computers on home network but get error message when attempting access
Places-Network Servers-Windows Network-mshome-WIL-LAPTOP
Error Message: Couldn't display "smb:///mshome/WIL-LAPTOP", The location is not a folder
This occured with upgrade to ver 6.10. Previous ver was working.

Thanks for your bug report. I believe there should only be 2 forward slashes and not 3, so try "smb://mshome/WIL-LAPTOP".

Also if you are still having problems with this what version of Windows are you running? I am having a small issue getting access to my Vista box via smb but that might be a different issue

The three forward slashes are copied directly from the error message -- not anything I have typed in. I have discovered that if I wait perhaps 20 seconds after bringing up windows network and then click on the icon I will get the two computer icon for mshome sometimes. At this point I can click on the icon and read files on the xp box. If mshome comes up as rectangular icon then I get the error message. My laptop running 6.06 on this network consistantly comes up with the two computer icon and reads the xp machine with no troubles. It does not see the 6.10 box however.

Reverted to v 6.06 and probleb went away
