Dash search/command field text don't follow the cursor position

Bug Description
To reproduce:
1) ATL+F2
2) Type some text (command/name) in the dash command/search text field.
3) Try to edit the first (or second or third or so on) letter of the text moving the cursor (by mouse or keyboard) and adding some letters
What happens:
1) The cursor is in the right position but the text is added after the last letter.
What should happen:
1) The text is added in the cursor position.
