I'm having some polkit issue, perhaps related to GNOME Shell. It would be nice if ubiquity would crash more gently.

Happens to me when I try to install a fresh Precise beta 1 to my laptop. Very annoying!

Only happens with the 64 bit version. 32 bot works fine. And I use the vanilla-version so I guess its not related to GNOME-shell.

effectively prevents me from installing from Precise Pangolin beta 1 live.

Just happened to me (twice in a row) with the release version of 12.04 64-bit from the live CD. It never happened with beta versions of the alternate install disk, I'll try one of those next.
