Bug Description

Is it possible to upgrade to a newer version of esound, as 0.2.29 has problems
with alsa? When you use libesd-alsa0, then esound won't start. This is fixed in
newer versions of esound.

Seb, please upgrade esound, it's part of GNOME. :-)

esound may be part of gnome, but it's also fragile. If you swear by it, I'm OK
with a merge, but at the first new segfault it causes, it gets reverted (and
that will not be fun).
