"Do not show window conent when moving" is not working

Bug Description
So. in Desktop Settings, there is this check box
"Do not show content of window when moving it".
It doesn't do anything at all actually.
It should be fixed, removed or grayed out in case other configuration prevents
using it. (like compositing).

This option actually works with metacity.
It is ineffective with compiz.
