Bug Description

I'm unable to access indicator-appmenu by using keyboard shortcuts in any application (using key combinations such as alt-f for file, etc). These key combinations work fine in libreoffice, which doesn't use indicator-appmenu's integrated menus.

Seems to affect only GTK apps.
Firefox and Banshee works, but QT doesn't seem to support this feature (when clicking ALT theres no underlined letters).

I experienced this issue on my ASUS eee-pc 1000HE. I tried re-installating the latest daily build from scratch and the problem still exists.

Please let me know if I should collect any additional information.

Thanks

For me, firefox does appear to work, as you mentioned. Nautilus does not work, however (I didn't think nautilus was QT, so it might be a wider issue than you've seen). Pressing my alt key does activate the menus (I see all the menus, with the key letter underlined in each), but pressing a letter does not activate that particular menu. If I click on a menu with the mouse, pressing the letter for a sub item of that menu does activate that item.

gnome-terminal also exhibits the same behavior, so this is definitely wider than just QT applications, for me at least.

My apologies, I completely misread your updated description. It does seem to affect only GTK applications, as you said.
