Bug Description

On either Ubuntu 10.04.3 and 10.10 (same machine), if the clipper applet is running, selecting any link/file by double-clicking on it or by pressing ctrl+c makes a menu appear. The menu contains "Open with Firefox, Send the url ..." etc. options. If I re-select them, this menu doesn't appear. Also, if I disable the clipper applet, the problem doesn't occur.

Hello,

If you don't like this feature, simply disable the corresponding option in the config panel of the Clipper applet ;-)
(uncheck the box corresponding to this option: 'Enable actions?')

Sorry, my bad. I wouldn't have thought that this was a feature since it's
pretty annoying - at least for me. (And you might've misundorstood: even if
I select a link in my browser the menu appears, which is not too good
because I usually want to write a new url in my browser, not open the
actually opened one with my actually running browser - firefox)

So ok, this is not a bug, but it might need some improvement - even though I
know that it is not too easy to unable this option in clipboard ONLY if the
link has benn selected in the browser.

Thank you!

Peter
