the dash icons 'media apps', 'internet apps', etc do nothing

When I open the dash in Oneiric, I get icons for these shortcuts:

* Media Apps
* Internet Apps
* More Apps
* Find Files

Clicking on any of the icons just makes the dash close. I expect anything but that to happen!
