Bug Description

Windows 7 home 64-bit Openlp 1.9.6 Dual screen setup (Operators screen + main display window)

If escape is pressed, the main display dissapears. While this works quite well in single screen mode, whith two screens, and with out escape mapped to show desktop, i would say that this is wrong!

Yeah. Not many people will be pressing escape, but this should probably check to see what the display setup is, and decide whether to act on it or not.

Its a problem for my church, as our previous package used escape to "blank
to theme", and so far every opperator has sliped up on this one, resulting
in a 5m wide windows logo appearing unexpectedly along with an exclimation
of "what have I done!" ;-) .

Escape in PowerPoint closes the display, and I think we should /by default/ follow suit regardless of setup.

We've had instances of people starting OpenLP and getting stuck behind the display window and not being able to close it without killing the process. Although we could try and do clever things to detect where screens are, it always seems to get confused in some situations when we've tried this.

Is ESC defined in the configure keyboard shortcuts? If so, then the user should be able to deassign it there at their own risk if they really need to. If not, can we add it to this list?

As an aside, there seems to be some situations recently where a single screen user is getting the display window over the app window when they first run, and ESC isn't working. We need to fix this. I think the issue was raised on Ubuntu and they had to switch to a virtual console to kill openlp. This leaves a bad first impression.

I've just tried, and the ESC shortcut can be deassigned in the Configure Shortcuts dialog under Live Toolbar -> Escape Item

Closing as Won't fix, as the key can be deassigned if the user wishes it.
