The latest package I see available for edgy is 2.5.3-2.1ubuntu4

I had searched feisty's packages and didn't find mount.fuse. http://packages.ubuntu.com/cgi-bin/search_contents.pl?word=mount.fuse&searchmode=searchfiles&case=insensitive&version=feisty&arch=i386

The problem is that binary of the latest release for i386 & am64 get lost somewhere between the build daemon and the repo.
Just wait a little bit, it should come soon.

The issue is apparently still valid for all edgy users (unless they use the unofficial flomertens repo).
An easy fix can be found on the following page:
http://www.john-hunt.com/linux/2006/10/30/fixing-fuse-for-auto-mounting-in-your-fstab-via-sshfs/

This is just in case you dont want to upgrade to feisty just to be able to mount your stuff like debian people did for years...

how did debian people do it for *years* without having mount.fuse in their package ? our fuse package is usually only synced from them ...
