Bug Description

Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
Affects all versions, but I'm using now CheckGmail v1.14pre2-svn.

I expect to CheckGmail logs in while I'm using 2-step verification. 2 ways are possible: prompt for verfication code; or request an app specific password. The problem is that: CheckGmail requests login on the official HTTP Google Auth site, what can't accept the app specific pass, and CheckGmail can't prompt for verification code. So, it will report 401 Unathorized after the download attempt.

I think, who knows this Perl language, and have some minute, it can write a patch to CheckGmail prompt for that verification code.

The CheckGmail tries to login through regular interface only for cookies.
You can disable this by executing checkgmail with "-no_cookies" option, and then, actual mail-checking pricedure will use only feed url where Google's "Application-specific password" work just fine.
