Click Refresh the Ink/Toner levels button
Click OK on Maintenance Action Submitted button
Click OK on the Printer Properties Page

NOTE : Using PSC-2170-Series through VMWare

Fixed in current system-config-printer package (1.3.6+20110831-0ubuntu1) which waiting until after beta1 is out..

Sorry, Tim, was a bug in my first patch for updating the properties dialog. I fixed it already with a second patch, and your upstream patch (I tested it) fixes it, too. Problem is that my last two uploads did not make it into beta1.

Please do a system update shortly after the release of beta1 (later today or tomorrow) to get the fixed version of system-config-printer (1.3.6+20110831-0ubuntu1).
