Regression: Backlight jumping between full and normal

Oneiric alpha on Samsung N220
Since todays updates the backlight jumps while simply using the computer.
The backlight stays flickering all time.

looks like bug 756509 which also affects natty
your natty installation did not have this problem?

I can confirm this bug for the final release of Oneiric. It never appeared on Natty. I am using a Samsung N220.
