Hi,

png files in HTML tutorials which you made don't use true Japanese font.
It's Chinese font which claims to support Japanese, isn't it?
AFAIK, all Chinese fonts which claim to support Japanese are insufficient as for Japanese glyphs (divert Chinese glyphs in some Kanjis, bad kerning in Katakana/Hiragana, not provide serif or sans-serif glyphs, etc...)

Hi,

PNGs replaced in the website SVN, revision 22879.

Sorry I missed that one. Apparently, I have no appropriate font on my system and that's why the generator falls back to another font. Could you please tell me which Japanese font you used to generate the images?

Hi,

Mine is non-free font (Hiragino font), the popular and full set Ja's free font is IPA fonts (IPAPGothic, IPAPMincho, etc.)
http://packages.ubuntu.com/oneiric/otf-ipafont
