Bug Description
Kernel 2.38, from 11.06, had the DRM OMAP driver integrated, making both the DVI and HDMI to work out of the box (with additional XrandR support from the PVR Xorg driver).
Since the patch series didn't go upstream, it was not forward-ported to 3.0, so we're now back with the same issues we had before.
Rob Clark is currently maintaining the patch series, and probably targeting 3.1/3.2 for upstream, so it may be useful to track his tree and also merge the DRM OMAP driver again.
