Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg-driver-fglrx

when I login into ubuntu my processor is at 100%. In system monitor I discovered that it was the 'atieventsd' proces that eat all my cpu. this happened after a reboot because the fglrx drivers were upgraded.

in steps:
1) upgrade fglrx driver to latest version
2) reboot
3) cpu 100% due to 'atieventsd' proces

I use a fully upgraded dapper
at the moment the fglrx driver 2.28.8-1 and kernel 2.6.15-23.39 are installed
