Bug Description

Font UbuntuBetaMono Regular v 0.3 (from ubuntu-font-family-sources_0.71.2.orig-phasedbeta-mono-v03.tar.gz)

The {} and [ ] characters have their tops cut off as size of 11pt.

Testing on Windows System at work in several programs: Console, Notepad++, and Wordpad to name a few.
In MS Word the tops of these characters are clipped even with double line spacing in effect.

The missing tops of { } and [ ] characters is not just in MS Word -- Console, Notepad++ and Wordpad also exhibit the problem.

Robert: please can you attach a screenshot showing what you're seeing, and also including the magic characters ' ' (U+EFFD, U+F000).
