French translation is lost after an update

Bug Description

After an upgrade of an Ubuntu 6.06 LTS in French, the Log Out windows (System -> Quit) is now in English instead of French.

Yes, it was a long time ago and as far as I remember the translation
issue was solved with a package update afterwards.
