Bug Description

Every time Firefox is upgraded it becomes unstable and hard to use. Sometimes it freezes when it starts up and it can't be used again, and other times it works for a bit and then freezes occasionally. Quite annoying.

The only way to get around this is to delete my ~/.mozilla profile directory. Although I use Sync, it's still really annoying and a total waste of time. (since sync doesn't actually sync everything!)

Stephen,

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Presumably this problem is no longer an issue? Can this bug report now be closed?

If we do not hear from you the bug report will close itself in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.
