Firefox 6 doesn't get repainted

Some times i press on links/buttons but the page doesn't get repainted. I have to alt+tab x2 to get it to repaint itself. Not sure if this is page-specific because clicking on tabs doesn't doesn't repaint, too. It is responsive though.

It drove me NUTS! I downgraded to 4.0 from the repos.

Arr, it persists in FF 4.0 too!
What could be the problem? I upgraded my nvidia driver to v280. FF 6 was on v175.

Dod you enable layers.acceleration.force-enabled in about:config?

I did just now. Should it be that way?
It's working fine now. Not sure how much will 'last'.

It still doesn't work! And now i'm sure why: it's because of eclipse! I don't know why, but most of the times when i alt tab from eclipse, FF has problems with repainting!
My Eclipse IDE is not installed from the repo's, i just have the program in a folder, downloaded from the official site.

PS: just checked via Menu>"check for update" in eclipse. Eclipse is updated to its final version.

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Presumably this problem was a one time occurrence and/or is no longer an issue? Can the bug report now be closed? If we do not hear from you the bug report will close itself in approximately 60 days time.
