Bug Description

I've installed an updated my new Vaio VPC-SB today which does have this Touchpad which allows two finger wipes in Windows - so I'm suspecting it to be a multitouch touchpad.

However booting Ubuntu i can' move the cursor correctly - most of the time it tends to move right when moving on the touchpad.
In addition it's flickering a little bit up and down. Which makes overall the Touchpad unuseable - at least at this point.

i8042.nopnp kernel module was only enabled for testing - and doesn't have any effect on the issue.

Might be similar bug to LP:550625

In addition I notecied that there is a PS2 mouse discovered which doesn't exist !

small addition - mouse / touchpad tab settings changes take effect on the touchpad (disable tapping, disable while typing)

But moving the thing within a predefined paths stays impossible

disableing the additional PS2 input mouse in xinput doesn't solve the issue

Is a duplicated bug of the above mentioned LP bug.
After reboot and updates the touchpad was working and only the scrolling issue persists.
