Bug Description
Firefox has an optional feature whereby the URL in the clipboard will be loaded on middle-click. Although I accept the reasoning behind this being turned off by default (bug 353318), I prefer it turned on. It used to be the case that one could turn it on by visiting about:config and setting middlemouse.
This behaviour happens in at least Ubuntu 11.04, in Firefox 5 and 6. It may have been ongoing for longer; https:/
Could this addon please not interfere with this setting if it has been changed by the user?

The package xul-ext-ubufox contains the extension which causes this behavior. The ubuntu-mods.js file resets middlemouse. contentLoadURL to 'false' when Firefox starts with this extension enabled.
The attached patch resolves the problem for me.
