evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in g_str_equal()

Xubuntu 11.10 Alpha 2 (XFCE) with all updates as of 17-08-2011 (happens since installation and with all updates
 in between)
If launching Mail Reader from lower panel, will get "I/O Error" after a while, or the same crash.
When launching from CLI, will get several instances of each of the following:
(evolution:18178): evolution-shell-CRITICAL **: shell_settings_pspec_for_key: assertion `schema_name != NULL' failed
(evolution:18178): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: g_object_get_property: object class `EShellSettings' has no property named `cal-primary-calendar'
(evolution:18178): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: g_object_get_property: object class `EShellSettings' has no property named `cal-primary-memo-list'
(evolution:18178): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: g_object_get_property: object class `EShellSettings' has no property named `cal-primary-task-list'

Then ends with:
"Segmentation fault (core dumped)"

evolution is unusable.
