Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Installing without the use of a mouse: Kubuntu amd64 pre-Herd3

In the list of keyboard layouts (country/language list on the left) you would expect to be able to navigate the list with either arrow keys or by pressing the first letter of the language you want. However, it only ever cycles over a few entries under 'A'.

Further info: Key Modifiers (sticky keys) were selected from the gfxboot menu.

Still a problem with gutsy RC.

To reproduce start the installer and at the keyboard layout screen try using just the arrow keys and Tab to navigate. Fails both with and without sticky keys.

Still a problem on Kubuntu intrepid alpha 5, but changed slightly:

I can now jump to the first country starting with any letter, but still not use the arrow keys. Keyboard navigation seems to work fine elsewhere in the installer.
