Bug Description

I have this problem:
When I open an application's window, let's say thunderbird for example, I maximise the window, then double click on the top bar the window unmaximises, but I cannot move it anywhere, the top bar like dissapears.
If you open other windows these open without the top bar, so you can't put them anywhere else on the desktop and have to keep them where they are.
The only way to close the windows is to use the application's menu.
See image-1.

gtkw-window-decorator is crashing. Can you check in /var/crash and report a new bug by double clicking on the .crash file with the name -gtk-window-decorator' in it so that the bug report have useful crash logs.

Don't know why, but now this problem of double clicking on the maximised window and not been able to move the window around any more happens only with thunderbird, the other applications seem not affected any more.
I launched an update and I also tried to install different video drivers, but had to reinstall the ones I had, so I don't know which of the two actions might have caused this.

affects: compiz (Ubuntu) → mozilla-thunderbird (Ubuntu)
