Bug Description
We all know that, starting from Oneiric, gdm is replaced by lightdm on regular Ubuntu, but still, it still need Ubuntu love! At least, for those who will want to use the regular/vanilia Gnome 3 (with gnome-shell) and wants optimal integration with the DM.
Here's another way to look at this: while there is no "Gubuntu" variant, there is no reason that gdm suffers from un-integration when DM for Kubuntu (KDE), Xubuntu (XFCE) and Lubuntu (LXDE) have this kind of sweetness.
Right now (on Oneiric Alpha 3), gdm is not so bad, but for one thing, the upper Ubuntu logo is missing (the actual logo is a computer one...).
This may be considered a "wish report", as this is not pointing to any kind of real bug.
Thanks.

We fixed this in ubuntu- gnome-default- settings; next cycle I'm going to look at adding this to ubuntu-settings or something.
