Bug Description
Excel2LaTeX Version 3.1, downloaded from website today. Office 2010 fully patched.
Attached .xlsx worksheet is very simple: it has a header spanning two columns, and 4 subsequent cells beneith it.
Excel2LaTeX generates:
% Table generated by Excel2LaTeX from sheet 'Sheet1'
\begin{tabular}{rr}
\multicolumn{
A & C \\
B & D \\
\end{tabular}%
In LaTeX, error occurs because of extra alignment tab in the first row.
