Bug Description

Binary package hint: hplip

In Feisty, the entry for the HPLIP toolbox appears twice in the Control Center, one entry next to another. I went to /usr/share/applications and noticed there were hplip.desktop and hplip-kubuntu.desktop, even though I never installed the kubuntu-desktop pacakge or anything like that on this machine. Even after I deleted the extra .desktop file, the two entries were still there, and they're both functional.

Do you have any .desktop for it to .local/share/applications maybe?

There's a hp-toolbox.desktop there, yeah. I'm in Windows right now, but I'll delete that and I see what happens. I wonder why was it created in two different places?

Yeah, that did the trick. Sorry for opening such a silly bug :$... But anyway, I'm having some trouble with GRUB and had to manually edit fstab to take away all that troubleful uuid stuff, but that's for another report ;)
