Bug Description
gimp 2.6.11-2ubuntu2, compiz 1:0.9.5.0-0ubuntu3, unity 4.6.0-0ubuntu4, Ubuntu Ocelot
1. Launch Gimp.
2. Drag the Toolbox window to the edge of the screen, to take advantage of Fitts' Law.
What happens:
2a. The Toolbox window expands to cover half the screen.
2b. The window's title bar is inaccessible off the top of the screen.
What should happen:
2a. Dragging a palette to the edge of the screen should never enlarge it.
2b. When a window has a title bar, the title bar should always be accessible.
For 2a, either Gimp is not setting the appropriate window type for the Toolbox, or Compiz is not smart enough about which window types it applies edge snap to, or both.

I believe fixing bug 822681 would fix this one as well, bug 822681 was not an issue in Natty.
