Bug Description
Binary package hint: vlock
vlock's pam configuration file, /etc/pam.d/vlock should contain:
@include common-auth
rather than it's own independent auth directive.
This would allow it to authenticate against the system-wide authentication backend (ldap, etc.). Otherwise, if a local (i.e., /etc/passwd) user uses vlock, they will be locked out.
This applies to vlock 1.3-8 in Ubuntu Dapper 6.06.
Thanks for the bug report. I'm closing it because the bug has been fixed in Edgy.
