Bug Description
It is OK I had used a flash drive to create a boot media and was just trying the drive on various PC's and showing people how clever these Ubuntu guys were. It is vary impressive. So once in a while there is an error vary minor indeed. The drive still works programs load, Internet internet's it is vary cool. even boot on 64bit AMD athlon CPU nice!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The version of update-initramfs that you likely have installed is unable to work on a persistent usb stick. You can resolve this issue by upgrading the version of casper on your system. This can be done via the commands:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install casper
