Gnome splash screen does not go away until clicked

Bug Description

1. Log in.
2. Wait for disc and memory acivity to quit down
3. Watch the splash screen

The splash screen should dissapear to indicate that the system is done loading.

Instead it just hangs there until it is clicked, then it dissapears.

Build: Warty Warhog 4.10, updated 2004-09-19.

Most of the time this problem is due to programs with bad session management.

Could you provide a copy of your ~/.gnome2/session ?

the files looks ok. BTW could you try to move it somewhere else and to
logout/login without saving the session to check if the problem is still here ?

I moved the file and logged out and in. The problem is gone. Thank you!
