bzrlib error, cannot find revision in branch

We are having a issue with config-manager with a private BZR/launchpad branch, where we are getting the following error:

bzrlib.errors.InvalidRevisionSpec: Requested revision: '326' does not exist in branch: RemoteBranch(bzr+ss (... ) [removed rest of string for security reasons. ]

The revison of the branch exists, and we can branch it down properly with no errors. It is not a LP-user permission error, as other branches of the same user/permissions are updating OK.
