menu appears over the panel

Binary package hint: deskbar-applet

The history dropdown menu appears over the panel just after a normal deskbar search. I'll try to make it clear:

If you click the magnifying glass icon in deskbar, you get the history menu above the panel, right?

Well if you perform a deskbar search you get the returned items on yet another dropdown menu. You select anyone...

Then, if you click the magnifying glass icon again, the menu appears over the gnome panel and not above it.

Ok I confirm this. This bug only applies with gnome panel being at the bottom of the screen.

Upstream says that this might be fixed in 2.19/2.20. It would be great if someone could test it. Thanks.

deskbar (2.20) doesn't open a menu depending on the panel, it shows a window, so this is not a bug anymore.
