Bug Description

Binary package hint: fvwm

When using FVWM (FVWM-GNOME) as a window manager in Gnome, the Desktop is shown as a large window. This window can be minimized, for example. This happened on AMD64/Edgy. There is no such bug in ia32 Edgy. When I compiled the latest version of FVWM (fvwm-2.5.21) from fvwm.org on AMD64 with the default options (except --prefix), everything works as it should on AMD64 as well.

Thank you for doing your part to make Ubuntu better. Since this bug was
originally reported against Edgy Eft(6.10), I was wondering if this
can still be reproduced on a supported version of Ubuntu?

 Thanks,
