Bug Description

Please add this to the wishlist stack (although this is one of the primary reasons I am not using Unity right now):

I think it is marvelous that there is now an option to hide the launcher tiles for mounted devices. I would also like an option to hide any or all of the lenses, and the trash tile. Use case: my vertical real-estate is very valuable to me, and I do not want to waste it on things I do not use. I do not use the trash or virtual desktops; I never need to see my recent files (and, in fact, would REALLY prefer that functionality simply not be available on my desktop); and the Ubuntu button does enough of what the app lens does to make it superfluous to me.

And no, I don't want to remove the lenses by removing critical functionality from unity (imagine my surprise when I uninstalled the App lens only to find out that the Ubuntu button - which depends on App Lens functionality - simply didn't work any longer).

Oh, wow. That will certainly do until this can be put into CCSM (which is where I imagine it would go).

Two down, one to go (trash). :-) Thanks for the tip!
